Recording from multiple audio interfaces

it would be nice if cubase could work with multiple audio interfaces at once, at least for recording session,
advantages

  • possibility to have more input channels at once
  • specific audio interface for specific recording task at the same time

To merge multiple ASIO drivers to one, please, use ASIO4ALL on Windows or Aggregate Device on Mac.

does the using of intermediate driver (asio4all) impact the quality of recording and latency ?

Hi,

I doesn’t affect the quality of recorded signal. It affects the latency.

is the new latency = max ( of latencies ) ?
are the recorded tracks (with this configuration) synchronized automatically to avoid phase problems ?
is there the help instructions on how to configure multiple cards with asio4all ?
