Using a Yamaha THR10X as my interface, heavy gain guitar, and is heard as heavy gain during recording, but playback on AI 7 and also once saved to computer both, play it back clean as can be. Any and all suggestions are deeply appreciated! Thanks!!
You probably recorded the guitar pre vst effect but monitored it post effect. Or maybe you had the effect assigned to the stereo out track. Regardless of the reason, just make sure the effect you want is assigned to the guitar audio track you recorded and don’t forget to activate it.
