my PC crashed and I had to restore it. I was able to restore most of my cubase elements 7 project files from a backup but it did not have the .cpr files. Is there any way to recover or rebuild a project. All i have are the audio files for the projects.

Did any of the .bak or .baknn files survive?
If so, rename the latest of them to a .cpr.
How accurate it is will be dependant upon how many edits were done between it and the missing .cpr.
Otherwise, your only choice is to create a new project with all the tracks and settings you can remember, then drag and drop the audio files. Any MIDI (part of the .cpr) will have been lost.
