Reference track audio routing

Wavelab pr 10, windows 10 home all updates.

Reference tracks audio routing is unstable to put it mildly.
I can only get it to work when I press things in a certain order AFTER hitting play and getting no sound.
I need for it to go via sonarworks, ie through playback effects of the mastersection.
When choosing this, there is no out put from the reference track. When deselecting the playback effect routing and selecting mastersection, I do get sound although blasting rather unpleasantly at +9 db or so from normal, the reselecting playback effect routing sometimes gets me the desired routing. Although when I stop playback, I have to do the same again nect time I enable playback.

So baslically, it’s broken…:slight_smile:

Any thoughts?

What are these plugins? If you don’t use them, does that work?

I got crackles first and then no sound at all on the reference, when putting too many plugins into the Masterchain.
Using a higher Asio buffer does not help, BUT now I realized lowering the Asio Buffer was the solution to hear the Reference.
Using a seperate external Output.
