I read on here somewhere that as C7 has been a failure for many, that a refund was being offered. Is this actually true or just rhetoric?

I have not read that anywhere.

Might be a better move (financially)
to download and install the ‘free’
trail/demo version first.

That way no $$$ are invested.

yes an offer of a refund was given to a user on 7.0 but I wouldn’t have thought Steinberg would refund you now .

Hi,
Of course you will understand that we cannot refund a product, which has been in use for months. I made this offer on an individual base back in December, when the product had been freshly released.
