Regarding video sync - Bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Ok, so I import audio converted to video in order to score to it (in this case a vocal so I can score the arrangement around the vocal).
On playback, everything is great.
I hit record to play in a part on a staff and the video audio is completely out of sync and not even starting at the correct spot. Hit playback, everything’s normal again.

I’ve tried different videos and it’s the same every time. On playback, video is perfectly in sync, hit record, video is a mess - out of sync and not even in the right spot.

Anyone know what’s up? This is Dorico 6, by the way.

I believe this is a known issue - check this thread

Ah - thanks. Well, that’s a PITA. I’m still new to Dorico so I haven’t found all the longstanding bugs yet!

I guess most people score in their DAW anyway, and to be honest most of the time I usually do also, except for this project, 90% was done in the daw, midi exported and imported to Dorico, the vocal imported as a video file and the last 10% would have been easier to just score in Dorico for various reasons.

Fingers crossed they can eventually fix this.

Thanks for the link!
