Hello

I’m having great trouble registering my Cubase Pro 8.5

I’m told:
Your eLicenser with the number [EDITED] was successfully registered.

But then:
​Currently, there is no valid Steinberg product license found on this eLicenser.


How can this be?

Hello,

I updated your post and took out the soft eLicenser number for privacy purposes. Please note that Cubase Pro 8.5 requires a USB eLicenser (dongle) in order to activate the license and also run the software. It cannot be activated on a soft eLicenser.

Is this true for Cubase 9 as well?

Yes, it applies to both Cubase Artist and Pro 9.
