When I add text to a double bar line, it pushes the rehearsal mark up in parts with multimeasure rests. I attached screenshots of the galley view of the score (what I want) versus page view of the part (what I don’t want).
I’ve tried various things in paragraph styles to both default text and rehearsal marks to no avail.
You can disable text collision avoidance for this text items, which removes it from vertical spacing considerations, but then risks it colliding with other items. You can move it in Engrave mode to wherever you want it to appear instead.
Hej Lillie.
I have kind of the same problem with rehearsal marks and DS signs.
When I add a DS on the same bar as a rehearsal mark the DS is placed above the rehearsal mark, which makes the system to system space (or staff to staff) kind of big. It looks ugly and not uniform. And when you then go to the engrave mode and reposition the DS, the system to system space does not adjust itself or reset. Very frustrating.
Now this was also a problem in Sibelius.
So why has this issue not been resolved, by making it possible to tell Dorico to position DS (and other texts) besides the rehearsal mark???
You can create the RM at a slightly different grid position, so the extra vertical height will not be created (and adjust the exact positions in Engrave)
