Relative scaling of groups of midi note events?

Hi!

I’m new to Cubase so forgive me if this is an easy question. I imported a midi file from another DAW and the notes need to be rescaled to the new project so they play faster. I tried setting the tempo faster but cubase will only allow me to set the tempo so high.

Is there a way to select a group of midi notes and scale them so they keep their relative lengths scale so they play faster?

Hi Jgb

If you change the “select” tool to “sizing applies timestretch” it’ll do what you want …I think :slight_smile: there’s a little arrow under the select tool box which if clicked gives you the options.
