I must be clear. The Generic 24 Cells.xml is never read by the MIDI Remote. It will continue using the Generic 8 Cells.xml. This means that your new mapping has to be done to this default (8 cells per page) layout.
I have my remotes both on Win&Mac, no issue with RCE. Nevertheless, sure, a bug cannot be neglected, I would suggest reporting it in a separate thread, since this thread was just about random assignments.
Yes I under stand. And my setup works just fine on windows. It is Just the Mac that dosent work. I turned of every single 3rd party software (Bome, AI and remote scripts) Just to be sure that there is a bug. Even cutting it down to just 8 parameters, 8 controls and RCE. No luck.
I posted here cause I see the op is having the same issue. RCE dosent update. Might call it random, but it is not. Op is just experiencing the plugins default cc thrown at his midi remote layout. There is a bug in the software that effects some of us.
