Remove elicenser from steinberg account

Hi everyone,

I accidentally registered my friend elicensed software to my steinberg account :cry: , and now I want to remove it from my account but I cant find the remove menu. :unamused:
Has anyone else had this problem? please help me to resolve this problem :wink:

Pretty easy :slight_smile:

Go to … Sign in

and log in. Choose the Tab “eLicensers” under these 3 big red buttons. Click on the right side on the show details triangle … scroll down to the end of the list of the elicensers content … there is a gray link “Remove USB eLicenser from Account” …

But … this is not possible for Software eLicensers. If it is an SeL … Steinberg Support must help.

You only have Software eLicensers.

Hi.

Yes, the removal of an eLicenser is only enabled for USB-eLicenser.

From our viewpoint, you rather replace an eLicenser than remove it. So you have the reactivation-option which deletes the old eLicenser and gives you new activation codes for the licenses on your old soft-eLicenser.

So for the time being, the removal of a Soft-eLicenser is a support case.
