Hello.
I think that removing a curve point with a
double mouse click is standard in audio editing.
Wave Lab does it.
Cubase modulator curves does it.
Cubase FxModulator does it.
Other companies have this approach.
Izotope RX, Cableguys ShaperBox 3 and many others.
I like working with a mouse.
I don’t want to use additional keys for basic functions.
Please change to removing a volume curve point with a
double mouse click.
Thank you.

I read your post as verse…
Here’s a haiku:
Removing curve point
Extra keys are not needed
Double mouse click please
I also agree with your request.

YMMV as always, but…
Double-clicking to delete, for me, is counter-intuitive. I still haven’t got used to it since it was introduced in the Key Editor. I expect a dialogue to open. Regardless of how it’s done elsewhere.
Me, too. I don’t even own a keyboard (of the piano persuasion). I just don’t consider the Del key an additional key.
Each to his own.
There may be another option.
I mean to remove a point without an additional key.
Using only the mouse.
Maybe the eraser tool.
Now it doesn’t work on the volume curve.
It works on the automation curve.
I want to be able to do everything with the mouse.
I want to have a free left hand.
Sometimes I hold a guitar.
Sometimes I have the keyboard of the instrument in front of me.
Then it’s hard to reach the laptop keyboard.
Aha, you are talking about the event volume envelope. Thanks for clarifying it. I took the liberty to adjust the topic title accordingly.
