a lot of my custom own samples that I’ve recorded or spliced out of my own recordings, I organize them with a lot of naming tags before actually specifying what the sample is… I’d like these parts of the names removed automatically when adding them to say drumpads in Groove Agent so that the important part of the file name is visible in any fields displaying them name in which the name needs to be condensed, shortened, etc, etc.
Also would be useful is to create a list/glossary of what certain words mean. Drm = Drum, Kik = Kick, hh = hi-hat, Gtr - Guitar, etc.
