Remove Missing MIDI Ports

I finally got around to decommissioning my MIDI hardware synths and my MIDI IO driver. I removed the device definitions from Audio MIDI Setup and the ports from Cubase MIDI setup. However, when I open a project, I’m still getting a message about missing MIDI IO ports. How do I get rid of these missing ports?

Maybe you still have those, now non-existent, MIDI ports selected as the input to some MIDI tracks or Instrument tracks? If so, select “none” or something appropriate and save the project.

Also check your Devices > Device Setup. The port is maybe used in Quick Controls, Generic Remote Device…?

Thanks, but I finally figured it out. I had to uninstall the Edirol UM880 midi driver.
