Remove upbeat from first measure of project

I decided to solve my upbeat another way and now I have that first incomplete measure to delete. Is there an easy way to do it?

Choose the 4th insert mode (Global adjustment of current bar)…

Then select the pick up rests and hit delete.

(Remember to turn off the insert mode after)

I’m not certain what a “4th Insert Mode” would be. I haven’t upgraded to 6.2 yet. Should I do that before going any further?
