Remove VST instrument from rack???

How does one remove VST instrument from rack? Why is this so hard? Yes, I searched forum and nothing came up.

Since you don’t specify:

  1. If it is a Rack Instrument go to where you’d change the VSTi used and set it to empty (or maybe unused, not at DAW right now).
  2. If it is an Instrument associated with an Instrument Track then you need to get rid of the Instrument Track and the Instrument you see in the Rack will go away with it.
