This is not really a Dorico issue, but I am kindly asking for help here because Dorico is what brought me into Steinberg’s ecosystem and it is still my main Steinberg application. The issue is not urgent and please take your time answering more important messages before you find a moment for this one.
I know how to completely uninstall eLicenser Control Center (including the licenser file itself). The problem is that Steinberg Download Assistant always reinstalls it. I guess that eLCC is needed to support older versions of Steinberg software that were not migrated to new licensing system. However, I only have Cubase LE and WaveLab LE that I got back in 2019 with Zoom H4n Pro recorder and never actually used them. I’ve just purchased Cubase Pro 13 and I don’t care about WaveLab. My question is if it’s possible to remove Cubase LE and WaveLab LE eLicenser-based products from Steinberg account? And if those two are removed from the account, would that prevent Download Manager from installing eLCC?
I even used Resale Wizard to transfer those two to another account. I received new activation codes and successfully activated Cubase LE and WaveLab LE via the new Activation Manager on another account. I thought this would remove them from my main account, but no, they are still there from some reason.
