Rename/Title Mix Console Window

Is there a way to rename/title opened mix console windows? I know you can have up to 4, and this would make it easier to realize what mix console you are currently on. Google AI says you can, and it even gives instructions on how to do this, but I don’t think it is true.

Hi,

No, you can’t rename the windows.

Thanks you. Here is a screenshot of what the google search informed me just so no one thinks I’m making this up lol. This is part of the frustration for a newbie to Cubase

AI searches for technical information seems more often wrong than right.

I would avoid it in general.

Internally you can’t, as already pointed out. Externally, sure thing, however even if you do so, upon closing/re-opening a mixConsole, its title will return to the original one, so you’d then have to re-run a script for renaming. I don’t think it’s a good idea to mess with it

Here’s a renaming example in Windows:

Thanks for sharing the video. I was going through the manual and I was thinking if I used more than one mix console I may get confused. I will have to name and organize my channels efficiently so this doesn’t happen.

Hi,
I assigned each MixConsole window to a different key command. This way, it’s easier for me to remember the purpose of each window (and it’s of course faster to open them).
Not what you’ve been asking for but maybe this helps, too.

This is a good idea. I will keep this in mind. Thanks!

Well, at least each MixConsole window has its own name. Even if separated only by a number.
