Sometimes you just want to see the audio waveform of the MIDI events on the frozen track. I thought using “render in place” might be a nice workaround to quickly inspect it.
However, it turns out it doesn’t work. Calling “render in place” does nothing.
Instead, you have to unfreeze the track in question, use “render in place” after that and refreeze the track again.
