Render in place - range issue

Hello,

I am looking to use Render in Place. I set the range as I would normally in the F2 transport bar, but Render in Place renders the whole track, which is a problem when it’s over 10 minutes.

Am I missing a step or a tick box?

How do I make it render just the selected range?

Hi,

There are 3 ways, how to use Render-in-Place.

  1. If you select any event (or multiple events), Cubase will render this/these events.
  2. If you use Range Selection tool, Cubase will render this range. (So this is probably what you want to, instead of Locators, use Range Selection.)
  3. If you don’t select any events, or range, Cubase render the whole track.
