If I render “region/cd track” to MP3 or AAC with the option “create audio montage from result”, the result hangs at 1% of decode, and has to be cancelled. It would be nice if it worked because I always use that option for Wav files.
If I render “whole montage” to MP3 or AAC with the option “create audio montage from result”, it opens the resulting audio file, not a montage.
This is not currently supported, indeed.
+1 for support for mp3 behavior to match WAV behavior when “Create Audio Montage From Result” is selected.
What’s interesting is that if I render mp3s of a montage with “Create Audio Montage From Result” selected, it opens an mp3 of each decoded mp3 as they complete, then after the last mp3 is created I get an error message about number of channels, and then eventually a montage opens.
