Rendering in WL13 blocks other actions

In WL12, when rendering “All Titles”, the process was moved into the “Tasks” bar. In WL13, a “parallel batch rendeing” popup opens, and when I click on “start”, it won’t let me do anything else. In WL12, I could cue up many rendering formats in a few clicks and then leave the computer for a longer time, but now in WL13, I have to wait for one batch to complete before I can start the next rendering. Is there some way to avoid this?

If you prefer the old WaveLab 12 slower workflow, uncheck this option:

Thanks! Yeah, I guess it’s technically slower, but being able to cue up all the formats I need and then go do something else is quicker in my case  . Having to do one batch at a time requires one to sit at the computer for the whole procedure to then select the next batch. This takes quite a bit of time especially if there are lots of processing involved.

Would it be possible in a future version to add ‘render jobs’ to the parallel renderer? Most of the time I work in multiple montages, being able to add them all to the renderer and then let it run would have both benefits.

It’s not exactly what you’re requesting for, but there is this option that allows you to run multiple audio montages. That is, you check several montages.
