Repeat Barline Text (like "Play 3 Times")

Hi everybody, I was pretty sure that in Dorico 5 I could replace the default text with custom text, for example (x3). I’ve forgotten how to do it, and in addition to this now in Properties the text it’s shown under the time signature panel. Am I missing something?

You need to be in Engrave mode for this. Select the specific repeat bracket you want to adjust, and look in the Properties panel.

Thanks, but I was talking about the Barline End Repeat, not Repeat Endings.

When I select the text “Play 3 times” is under the “Time Signature” stuff. But I don’t think this is a time signature at all..!

Time signatures and barlines are kinda the same thing in Dorico….

For customization, you want to be in Engrave Options > Repeat Markers > Repeat Count

Ok that’s the answer. I keep on finding these kind of things IMPOSSIBLE to remember. Thanks anyway I guess I have to give up!

I agree this stuff should be under “Barlines” for consistency, reserving “Repeat Markers” for Segnos & Codas…
