Repeat endings signage problem

Hi. Can anyone help, please?

I have a hymn tune that I am arranging for a choir, but after each of 4 verses, there is a 16-bar repeat. That’s fine.

But I can put the “1,2” repeat bars at the end of the repeat, but cannot find anything to let me put a “1,2,3” and a final “4” repeat at the end bar.

so, it is verse 1, chorus and repeat chorus, verse 2, chorus and repeat chorus, verse 3, chorus and repeat chorus, verse 4, chorus, repeat chorus and final bar.

I’ve looked in the properties panel, but haven’t spotted anything useful there.

My thanks in advance to anyone that can show me the way.

Best regards, Pete

Select the repeat ending and change the times played property to 4.
You can fine tune the text in Engrave (custom text)

Here is a way to get the playback sequence of bar numbers to be 1221221221223:

After adding the start and end repeat barlines around the chorus, select the end repeat barline and add a D.C. repeat marker. Copy this marker, select the end repeat barline, then paste a copy of the marker and hide it. Select the end repeat barline, paste another copy of the marker and hide it. Go to Library > Playback Options > Repeats and activate Play repeats after D.S./D.C. jump. Finally, select the visible D.C. and use the Custom text property to change the text of this marker if you wish.
