Repeat section not playing between DS and Segno

Hi,

I have two consecutive 8 bar sections each of which is enclosed in repeat bar signs. First time through, the repeats play. I have a DS later on that returns to a segno at the start of the above 8 bar sections. The problem is that playback, after jumping to the segno, ignores the repeat signs.

Is this normal or is there a setting that allows playback of repeated sections after a segno?

Look at the properties of the DS, there you can switch on to play the repeats.

Look at the Repeats page of Playback Options, where you will find an option for whether or not repeats should be played following a D.S. or D.C. jump.
