I can use Shift + R and type ‘end’ to create a repeat on the right side of a measure. How do I add the |: repeat on the left side of the section that I want repeated? I’ve looked through documentation and videos and can’t find it. DC, DS, Fine, etc are all well & good but I need to take a step back, I’m struggling just figuring out how to create a basic repeat for a specified number of bars that doesn’t repeat all the way back to the beginning of an arrangement.
Select the barline → Shift+B → start

You can create start and end at once if you select the bars, and type in the Barline popover
