Repeat signs do not work

This is undoubtedly very simple. I inserted a repeat barline. Playback ignores it. How do I make playback respect repeat barlines?

Dorico should respect repeat barlines by default. Can you post your project, or a cut-down version of it?

I’d check the Playback options, repeats to make sure Play repeats is on. While unlikely if you only have one repeat barline, it is true that if you have an invalid repeat structure, Dorico will not honor the repeats.

That was it. Thanks. (Don’t remember ever seeing that option or turning it off.)

I think Dorico automatically turns it off if you start playback and the repeat doesn’t make sense.
