I have a project in which the time signature alters between 3/4 and 6/8 but the start of the rhythmic cycle is displaced by one beat. I could notate it as 2/4-6/8-1/4 which would give the correct rhythmic cycle but would be inaccurate historically. I had repeats working as they are notated and I must have done something because now they don’t work.
You can see at measure 6 the notation for most of the piece with the dotted barline indicating the beginning of the rhythmic cysle. it’s just this intro section that I am having difficulty with.
