My vision is probably average for my age (69 years), which means it is “not what it used to be”. I find the orange hue a bit difficult at times. Would it be possible to add a color picker for selected items to Dorico Preferences?
I just used an eyedropper tool on the image you posted and it specified the orange as #ffb161. On a white (#ffffff) background that’s a contrast ratio of 1.79:1 which is well below most design standards for legibility. WCAG 2.0 recommends a ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal web text. If a complete color picker option isn’t on the schedule to be implemented, at least a fixed default that meets legibility standards would be nice.
