I hope you are well. I am contacting you regarding an issue with my Cubasis purchase on iOS.
Recently, I received a refund from Apple for Cubasis by mistake. This happened due to a misunderstanding: I initially thought I had not received the 40% promotion for Cubasis, so I requested a difference reimbursement. Apple interpreted my request as a full refund, and doesn’t want to give me a commercial gesture to buy the application at the same promotional price.
I am a dedicated user and also own the Android version of Cubasis, with nearly all available plugins, which demonstrates my commitment to the Steinberg ecosystem. I would like to continue using Cubasis legally and properly, and I am willing to repurchase the app if necessary.
I am reaching out to see if Steinberg could assist in one of the following ways:
Reactivating my existing license on my Apple ID, since the refund was issued in error.
Providing a discount or promo code to allow me to repurchase the app at a fair price.
Cubasis is essential for my music production work, and I would greatly appreciate your support in resolving this issue so I can continue using the software legally.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.
That’s what I’ve already done, but Apple refused to take responsibility for the mistake and refused to make a commercial gesture. So, can I continue to use the app without risk of being blocked if I don’t immediately repurchase it at full price? As long as I don’t uninstall it?
Do you have a solution so I can buy this application again with a promotion like when I got it?
Unfortunately, the sales promotion has already ended, and the App Store doesn’t provide any option to grant individual price reductions.
Cubasis is offered at a discounted price from time to time. To make sure you don’t miss future promotions, you might consider subscribing to the Steinberg newsletter.
As mentioned in my previous reply, only Apple is able to resolve your issue. You may want to reach out to their support team to explore a possible solution.
