when working with multiple tracks along a long time line from left to right, and zoomed fully out, its difficult to know what track you are working on. I work with sampled orchestra and look at 100+ tracks.
It would be easier if when you click ona name of a track to high light it the entire track would light up in white as well. Thank you
I understand the reasoning behind it. However, from a practical point of view this might get tricky in terms of colour choices. If the selected track and its parts/events are highlighted by a brighter colour some parts/events might end up not being more visible than before depending on their original colour. But that’s not for me to decide, that’s Steinberg’s call…
What you can do for the time being: You could automatically enlarge selected tracks via preference settings.
Afterwards, you can adjust the track height by pulling it up/down and Cubase will remember the last height. This way you can even even out the zoom if it is not needed at the moment.
Maybe this helps?
