From what I can tell, there is no way in Engrave mode → Staff Spacing to select an entire system and simply increase the distance between all staves equally. It would be great to be able to select the first and last staff in as system and hold a modifier key and stretch the distance proportionally between all staves.
Yes, that is correct (you can shrink them equally though). Lots of people have discussed this and would love it, me included.
Thanks. Wasn’t sure if I missed it. How do you shrink them equally? The only way I know to do that is to decrease frame size if you have a single system on a page.
I can’t remember exactly but it might be Alt-drag. It’s likely that I’ve missed something lol
See here: Moving multiple systems simultaneously

Yes, that is for moving a single system that is between two other systems. It does not change the distance between individual staves in a system.
Try Alt-dragging the handle underneath the left edge of the staff.
But the OP is about stretching – the opposite of concertina dragging, which can only compress the spacing between multiple staves (while increasing one space).
Like vertical justification, but subtler, and local, yes? So far the only way I have seen to do that is individual nudges. I select one blue staff handle and type Shift-arrow to extend the selection up or down, so I can nudge them all together. Then Shift-click to deselect the first staff and nudge again, etc.
Yeah, that’s the only way I’ve found as well. Hopefully some day it’ll get included as a feature.
