REQUEST: Timeline follows external sync?

As the title says. If I set up an external sync source via MTC, I’d like for the timeline to follow that time.

Example.

Time of Day LTC generator → RME RAYDAT w/TCO option card converting LTC to MTC.

Currently it does NOT do this. At least not that I’ve found.

I’ve also tried this in Nuendo 13 as well and get the same result.

Nuendo still supports the SyncStation but something tells me that the timeline still wouldn’t follow the incoming MTC.

Pro Tools

I would have thought that a DAW that started as a midi sequencer would have the ability to have the timeline follow an MTC Clock. :man_shrugging:
