On import of MusicXML file, or any file for that matter, enable ability to choose a default folder, in my case a folder that contains all of my old Finale files.
Apple allows arrow commands to move up/down within columns & left/right from column to column. Please enable this in Dorico, particularly in the change instrument window.
3)In Finale I could designate a default color for chord symbols, export the file to an app on my iPad as a PDF, and have the chords show in the selected color.
Please enable a process for doing this in Dorico.
Hi @Gerald_Schwab, you could easily select the first chord symbol, press Shift+Command(Control)+A a couple of times to select all, and change the Color Property in the Properties Panel:
Indeed… I’m curious if there is a situation where there is a convention where chord symbols are not black. I’ve never seen them printed in anything but black before. (I’m not saying there’s not a good reason; I’m just curious what it may be.)
Thanks. I stopped at command+shift+A, and never thought of +A twice. And, after a later return, I discover the same commend set works with a selected lyric, in this case, the chorus.
