On June 11, 2012, at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, Apple introduced the MacBook Pro with with Retina display…

Please Steiny DO IT!

I saw a DP9 in action on a retina yesterday, and when I came back to my cubase 8 without retina support my eyes felt like working on an old amiga…

Needs a bump since we are still waiting for any official word from Steinberg.

P.S. Can someone from steinberg reply for “Retina Support For Macs”

Kind regard,
Marcus

Yeeeees!!!

It is pretty friggin far from OK that retina support hasn’t been implemented yet!!

I mean… Steinberg is supposedly a big, old and well renowned music software company… HOW COME it hasn’t implemented something that is such a great thing for user experience?

And not just for mac users… There are plenty of surface pro/book users and win10 user with 4K and 5K screens…

And what about this prolonged wait for the software to be compatible with the latest OS (both WIN&MAC)!!! Both win 10 and OS X El Capitan has been available as beta for developers since early summer/late spring…

Every little app company has kept up with the times… I use Cubase Pro 8 and I’ve paid plenty to do so…

Come on Steinberg!!

+1 even though I am aware that may mean quite a lot of rewrite if the UI isn’t designed to be scalable already.
