Hi all,
Just a simple post. The onboard Yamaha REV-X DSP was one of the main reasons I bought the UR-C series (I have UR-22c and UR-44c) and I enjoy how easy it is to tweak. I rarely get satisfactory verbs out of plate algorithms but I managed to get a nice one out of REV-X which works well on synthesizer arpeggios. Just thought I’d share the settings if anyone is interested.
Algorithm: Plate (obviously:)
Reverb Time 3.56s
Initial Delay 97.7ms
Decay 37
Room Size 19
Diffusion 8
HPF 450Hz
LPF 12kHz
Hi Ratio 0.1
Low Ratio 0.6
Low Freq 4.5kHz
What lead to this setting was turning the Hi Ratio down all the way which I had never previously done. I ported similar settings over to the Hall algorithm but found I needed to make a lot of adjustments to get something satisfactory again.
Hope this is useful for someone, cheers
