On a midi track I have a drum sample that was recorded slightly left, and I want to pan it to the right. Just panning it right loses most of the sound, which is on the left. Is there a way for the midi track to play the left and right channels reversed? (I could probably transform the track to audio and then switch the channels, but I don’t want to do it that way).

You could use the stereo combined panner for your vst-i and drag the left over the right side so that it gets orange - that means the sides are reversed.
