Rewire out of sync during export

I started exporting a project recently and discovered Reason 6.5 was out of sync with Cubase 8 during export. As another poster pointed out “Rewire is perfectly tight until you try to export and then it is mysteriously ahead of events generated within Cubase.” This was in a Cubase 7 forum.* I never had this problem until Cubase 8.
Exporting audio in Reason (and importing in Cubase) is a workaround. Anyone have any idea’s whats’ going on?

I have always had this issue. from cubase 4 upwards. I find that if you export from bar 1 then this happens. Shifting all parts and automation back a few bars (in rewire application also) and exporting from there instead solves the issue for me.
I now always start my projects at bar 5 instead and rarely run into the issue.
