I don’t believe this is possible in Dorico 6 pro - but figured I’d ask to see if there’s a clever hack.
I’ve set up a project to use rhythmic cue slashes. The cues originate from a separate player in the score. And in the score, some notes are “dead notes” as found in the properties panel; these notes have an X notehead appearance.
The saxophone part is displaying cues and if I turn off slashes then the cue noteheads become roundish (normal noteheads) and the Xs then appear where dead notes have been assigned in the score.
I’m wondering if there’s some way of having both slashes and Xs. The second screen capture illustrates the look I’m after.
