Rhythm slashes above stave

Hi,
I’m writing a lead sheet and need to place some rhythm slashes in small size font above the stave. How do I do this please?

With stems? Create a slash voice for them and scale to cue.

Another way would be to use a special staff to write the kicks, and then cue them into the staff where you want them, like so :

This would be the easiest, most consistent way to create rhythmic hints above the staff!

Well, after some experimentation, here’s my recipe: Create a new Player, assign generic “Treble Staff” instrument. 1b. Enable Cues for Full Score layout (in case of simple leadsheet). Create a cue in the staff where you want the hints to appear, you can also have the cue span the entire flow! Create desired kicks in the special cue source staff. Hmmm…hopefully this feature can be implanted in future versions. As much as I appreciate the help, I’m not convinced by any of these solutions. Sincerely, Darren
