Rhythms not syncing

Starting a new piece and getting strange playback rhythms that don’t match what is written on the page. The initial 16th notes in Trumpet are not even. Also, the 8th notes on the “and” of 2 in bar two in Piano and Bass don’t play back at the same moment as the notes in the same location in the Trumpet. Tried going to Play and then “Reset Playback Overrides” but that did not make a difference. Playback is pretty useless at this time.

Any help appreciated.

In this project, the default rhythmic feel is set to swing, is that on purpose?

If you choose “straight” instead, you don’t get these oddities (but it’s maybe not what you want !)
