I had the same issue on my Mac and discovered an easy fix that required giving full disk access to mediabay. Essentially, check that your mediabay has disk access by doing the following: go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access > Toggle on SteinbergMediaBayServer. Shut down your computer and reboot to activate.
