Rit. or Rall doing its own thing

Measure 129 has… issues. Whether I place a ritard or rallentando, the tempo slows to about 43 bpm no matter what settings I use. In every other measure this works fine.

The rall reduces speed to 65% across the first beat of the bar. (so getting to about 43 bpm is correct).

If you want a more gradual slow down, give the rall more length.

If you want to end up at a different speed, change the final tempo %…

Nope. The one before works fine using the same starting tempo and almost the same length. The tempo slows to a crawl no matter what final tempo % I type into the box. Just for grins, I put the final tempo as 100%. Still slows. Maybe even worse.

Several days ago, the opposite was happening, with the tempo ramping to lightspeed, finishing the tune in about a second. I ended up finding a backup and working from that.

They are all the same. You can check in the tempo lane of the key editor…
The only difference with this one is you have set the speed drop to occur over a single beat.

Even stretched over several measures, I still get the same result. If I delete it and copy over one that works from another location, I still get the same result.

Weird… just opening the tempo lane of the key editor fixed the issue. I’m calling bug, here.
