For the first time I’ve bought this interface, but despite the manual and hunting through the Setup I cannot figure out how to monitor and input while recording. I set up a mic and it records and I can hear playback from cubase, but I cannot hear my voice while recording. What am I missing.

I think a RME forum is better suited. However this “interface” does not have totalmix. Have you pressed the yellow monitor button for the channel?
Thanks, but I sorted things out. You are correct, it is not “recording” interface. The Babyface would work or in my case, if I add the Digiface, that will have total mix etc and then I can get the zero latency monitoriing.
