I know this has been discussed but I’m just gutted that these plugins (RND Portico EQ and Comp) are being left behind. These were 799€ for the bundle when they came out and they are in thousands of sessions of mine and now what ? This is just gross. I’m getting more and more sour about Cubase and there’s nothing Dom Sigalas can do to fix it. Also just want to point out that when you stopped VST2 you should have made sure that whenever there’s a VST2 plugin in a session for which I have the VST3 version, it recognizes it. You think you doing cool stuff because I can type some words and have an awful AI sing those words in the worst possible manner ? Guys we’re working here. Stop playing or we’re all going to Reaper or whatever.
Who is “we”?
Also, you can still use the RND plugins with the USB-eLicenser plugged in. I was not happy that they were never going to be migrated to the new licensing system, either. I had to get over it, though.
It’s a proverbial “we” Scab. Can I have my 15 minutes of outrage ? I’m just tired of all these brands promising the moon and we get butt effed on a daily basis. I’m not going to get over it, I’m pissed. That plugin was my one EQ and now poof Steinberg doing Steinberg things.
Sure. I’ve been upset and felt like venting a few times about things. The unfortunate reality of the situation, however, is that it has absolutely no positive impact.
Hmmm … I’m not feeling that sensation.
That’s your choice. I have found that life is much easier to deal with once I developed the ability to accept and get over things which I have no control over. I spent too many years as a pissed off, unpleasant individual. If you want to be that way, more power to you. Just don’t expect things to change because you are upset about them. Life sucks sometimes. Reality is harsh. Deal with it. It will make you stronger.
As I already mentioned, you can still use the RND plugins the same way you have always used them … with the USB-eLicenser.
