Roland A88-mk2 & Cubase

Hi guys,

I’ve just bought a Roland A88-mk2, and I’m having a little trouble making it work properly with Cubase MIDI Mapping.
The DAW doesn’t recognize the knobs, MOD Wheel, and Pads. Any idea?

Your MIDI controller probably has an “Editor” or “Control” app. You can use it to edit what each control sends to Cubase. Usually, the keyboard notes and modwheel data will be sent through a “port 1”, while the other controls (knobs, faders, etc) are sent through “port 2”.

This editor app also likely comes with some presets which might be a good starting point if you need to edit which CCs are being sent.
