Roland AIRA SH-101 VST3 Help?

I this is my first post on these boards… hope someone in the community can help me move along. With that said… I downloaded the Roland AIRA SH-101 Plug-out software yesterday and as of this morning can not get Cubase 6.5.5 to add this VST3 as in instrument track?

Here’s my set-up…

:: Mac OS X ver.10.7.5
:: Cubase 6.5.5

I downloaded the SH-101.pkg from Roland.com and ran the installation package… which installs the following two items:

/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/SH-101.component
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Roland/SH-101.vst3

When I launched Cubase 6.5 and attempt to create an instrument track the SH-101 is not visible in my drop down menu?

I tried to add the VST path in Cubase by going to Devices → Plug-in Information and clicking on the “ADD VST 2.x Plug-in Paths” button with no joy?

At this point I am not sure if this user error, Cubase configuration issue or a Roland support issue… Any assistance the community can provide would be a greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Well… I finally found an answer on Rolands download page in fine fine print…

*Compatible Host Applications
The following host applications have been verified to work properly with the plug-in version.
-Windows: Steinberg - Cubase 7.5 (64bit / 32bit)
-Mac: Apple - Logic Pro X (64bit), Steinberg - Cubase 7.5 (64bit)

Looks like I will need to upgrade my instance of Cubase to 7.5… :O)

Not sure if this is the same on a mac but maybe this would help…

Try copying the .vst3 file to the “Program Files\Common Files\VST3” folder.

Good luck
