Does anyone know how to sync a Roland TR8 to Cubase pro 8 so when I hit play in Cubase the TR8 starts playing in time? Also how to split the audio tracks from the Roland into Cubase as it appears to in Logic demos on You Tube.
The Roland manual is more enigmatic than the Mona Lisa’s smile which is very strange.
I’m on Cubase 7 but managed to do it by activating MC Master Active in Project Sync set up (in Transport drop down menu), then selecting the TR-8 in timecode and clock destinations. Not sure whether all these need to be checked but it’s working for me now…
