Rolling back from 8.0.5 to 8

Is this a possibility without a full reinstall? Unfortunately one of my VSTs is jacked after the upgrade & I need to be able to use it. I tried reinstalling said VST but it’s definitely done.

It doesn’t appear you can uninstall just the update in add/remove programs…

If your on Windows Acronis True Image is your best friend.

My system is rock solid with CP 8.0 so I have it imaged with True Image.

In the unlikely event 8.05 messes anything up - it takes a couple of minutes to recover the last stable image file and you back … to exactly where your where … in a couple of mouse clicks.

Acronis or similar is essential, can’t believe the amount of people who don’t image the drive before upgrade, system restore is good as long as it’s switched off after creating are store point or it soon chews up the disk space.

I agree about ‘true image’ it has seriously saved my bacon several times.
