A wonderful feature for Cubase would be the ability to determine the root note of a sample somewhere in the project window and display it. It’s tiresome to manually adjust the pitch every time by ear, which is extremely annoying. In the age of AI technologies, it’s surprising that this feature hasn’t been implemented. There are plenty of plugins that can detect the root note, but for some reason, Cubase lacks the ability to do it on the fly when adding a sample to the project.

Not what your asking, but I drag the sample in the Chord Track and it will determine the key.

these are crutches
My Cubase generally crashes when I transfer a sample to a chord track,
but i have another way to detect pitch, you need to open your sample in variaudio,
but this is too crutches.
